Are you an inspiring leader, manager, creator? Scouting needs people to help and support deliver the largest youth organisation in the world. You don't have to have worked with young People You don't have to have a degree in anything but life skills What you do need to have is the time to share, this can be as little or as much as you like - Occasional, Infrequent, regular - a couple of hours a week, a month, a quarter or even yearly its whatever you can give.
We need individuals from all walks of life to enable Scouting and its youth members to continue to grow and develop.
Roles are needed as:
Leaders and assistants in all Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer sections.
Occasional Helpers and skills advisor's to help out on troop nights, trips and camps
Skills advisor's who can help out with a particular skills you may have i.e. mechanic, electrician, cook, crafts, games, joinery, driving, walking, fire lighting, first aid, IT the list is endless.
Group and district executive members to help and advise groups and help to keep the paperwork and funds in order.
Qualified First Aid trainers to support our Adult members
All adult appointments will be required to attend an appointments interview, you will be provided with free safeguarding check from the Disclosure and Barring Service, good quality training and mentors, and a friendly network from around the world.
